Изучить возможные биомаркеры пролиферативной диабетической ретинопатии, осложненной неоваскулярной глаукомой и гемофтальмом, находящиеся во влаге передней камеры глаза и стекловидном теле, а также оценить их роль в патогенезе патологической неоваскуляризации при сахарном диабете (СД).</p></sec><sec><title>МЕТОДЫ</title><p>МЕТОДЫ. Были отобраны пробы влаги передней камеры глаза у 7 пациентов с СД 2 типа и оперированной неоваскулярной глаукомой (клапан Ahmed), а также стекловидного тела у этих же пациентов, которым после дренажной хирургии была выполнена витрэктомия в связи с длительно существующим тотальным гемофтальмом. Группу сравнения составили пациенты без СД, у которых таже были взяты влага из передней камеры глаза и стекловидного тела. Оценка концентрации маркеров была выполнена методом мультиплексного иммунного анализа.</p></sec><sec><title>РЕЗУЛЬТАТЫ</title><p>РЕЗУЛЬТАТЫ. Во влаге передней камеры и стекловидном теле обнаружено достоверное повышение уровня выбранных маркеров относительно группы контроля (пациенты без СД). Концентрация некоторых цитокинов существенно отличалась в опытной и контрольных группах, что позволило предположить возможность их определения для раннего выявления более тяжелого течения диабетической ретинопатии.</p></sec><sec><title>ЗАКЛЮЧЕНИЕ</title><p>ЗАКЛЮЧЕНИЕ. Полученные результаты расширяют знания о патогенезе неоваскулярной глаукомы, а также подтверждают важность дальнейшего изучения иммунологических аспектов патологической неоваскуляризации при СД. Все это позволяет по-новому взглянуть на роль биомаркеров в этом процессе и указывает на их связь с активацией и поддержкой патологической цепочки процесса патологической неоваскуляризации.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>PURPOSE</title><p>PURPOSE. To study possible biomarkers of proliferative diabetic retinopathy complicated by neovascular glaucoma and hemophthalmos located in the aqueous humor of the anterior chamber of the eye and the vitreous body, and to evaluate their role in the pathogenesis of pathological neovascularization in diabetes mellitus.</p></sec><sec><title>METHODS</title><p>METHODS. Samples were taken from the anterior chamber aqueous humor of 7 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and operated neovascular glaucoma (Ahmed valve), as well as from the vitreous body of the same patients who underwent vitrectomy after drainage surgery due to long-term total hemophthalmos. The comparison group consisted of patients without diabetes mellitus, who also had aqueous humor samples taken from the anterior chamber of the eye and vitreous. Concentration of markers was assessed by multiplex immune analysis.</p></sec><sec><title>RESULTS</title><p>RESULTS. A significant increase in the levels of selected markers relative to the control group (patients without diabetes mellitus) was found in the aqueous humor of the anterior chamber and the vitreous body. The concentration of some cytokines differed significantly in the experimental and control groups suggesting the possibility of their evaluation for early detection of a more severe course of diabetic retinopathy.</p></sec><sec><title>CONCLUSION</title><p>CONCLUSION. The obtained results expand the knowledge about the pathogenesis of neovascular glaucoma and confirm the importance of further study of the immunological aspects of pathological neovascularization in diabetes mellitus.
