Дать сравнительную оценку эффективности и безопасности медикаментозной гипотензивной терапии и селективной лазерной трабекулопластики (СЛТ) у пациентов с впервые выявленной первичной открытоугольной глаукомой (ПОУГ).</p></sec><sec><title>МЕТОДЫ</title><p>МЕТОДЫ. В исследование включено 59 больных ПОУГ (59 глаз), разделенных на две группы: в группе 1 была назначена монотерапия тафлупростом, в группе 2 была выполнена СЛТ. При декомпенсации внутриглазного давления (ВГД) в ходе наблюдения в группе 1 усиливали местную терапию и переходили к СЛТ, в группе 2 назначали местную терапию. Срок наблюдения составил 6 месяцев. Исследовали гипотензивную эффективность лечения и состояние зрительных функций.</p></sec><sec><title>РЕЗУЛЬТАТЫ</title><p>РЕЗУЛЬТАТЫ. К концу срока наблюдения в группе 1 гипотензивная эффективность составила 24%, уровень ВГД составил от 20,1±1,6 мм рт.ст. Наблюдались некоторые нежелательные явления, связанные с местной терапией. В группе 2 гипотензивная эффективность составила 20,5% при среднем уровне ВГД 16,8±2,0 мм рт.ст. В группе 2 не наблюдалось нежелательных явлений.</p></sec><sec><title>ЗАКЛЮЧЕНИЕ</title><p>ЗАКЛЮЧЕНИЕ. Предварительные результаты свидетельствуют о сопоставимости гипотензивной эффективности монотерапии аналогами простагландинов и СЛТ. Выявлены очевидные преимущества лазерного лечения, заключающиеся в уменьшении нежелательных явлений, что создает условия для повышения комплаентности, приверженности лечению и способствует снижению риска прогрессирования заболевания.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>PURPOSE</title><p>PURPOSE. To conduct a comparative evaluation of the efficacy and safety of medication-based hypotensive therapy versus selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) in patients with newly diagnosed primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG).</p></sec><sec><title>METHODS</title><p>METHODS. The study included 59 patients with POAG (59 eyes), divided into two groups. Group 1 received monotherapy with tafluprost, while Group 2 underwent SLT. In cases of intraocular pressure (IOP) decompensation during the follow-up period, Group 1 was prescribed additional topical therapy or switched to SLT, and Group 2 was started on topical therapy. The follow-up lasted 6 months. The study assessed the hypotensive efficacy of the treatments and the condition of visual functions.</p></sec><sec><title>RESULTS</title><p>RESULTS. By the end of the observation period, the hypotensive efficacy in Group 1 was 24%, with an IOP level of 20.1±1.6 mm Hg. Some adverse effects related to topical therapy were observed. In Group 2, the hypotensive efficacy was 20.5%, with an average IOP level of 16.8±2.0 mm Hg. No adverse events were reported in Group 2.</p></sec><sec><title>CONCLUSION</title><p>CONCLUSION. Preliminary outcomes indicate that the hypotensive efficacy of monotherapy with prostaglandin analogues and SLT is comparable.
